And while promoting my music I realised this 'marketing thing' was non-negotiable.

But once I learned how to market myself, I let go of the frantic panicking, enjoyed an incredible music career and I fell in love with marketing through the process!
It's like an extension of my creativity, a mix of theory and practise, so in 2017 I took a marketing internship, got trained up on-the-job and became a freelance marketer working with theatre companies and nonprofits.

I started my career as a professional musician

In the process of growing my very first online business, a music education platform, I noticed that lot of marketing advice was promoting hustle-culture and didn't feel very human-centric - or even ethical at that!
And as my business grew towards £100k in revenue, I was getting bombarded with more and more ads from so-called 'marketing gurus' telling me I had to grind, get up at 5am and post 7xday on Instagram otherwise I'd never make my business work...all completely ignoring the fact that I started my business because I love what I do and want to make a difference in the world.

And so Fizzy Ginger was born!
